Economic Development

  • Establish community benefit agreements with government and businesses to ensure that all members of our community are considered for employment opportunities that arise in and around the City of Trenton.

  • The City of Trenton SHOULD NOT be in the home ownership business. The plan is to partner with our Housing & Economic Development and Inspections Department to unload, through public auctions, as many properties as possible.

  • Partner with government agencies to develop a comprehensive plan that would bring our City’s infrastructure (roads, schools, homes, electrical grid, etc.) into the 21st century.

  • Propose a new ordinance to ensure that locally owned small businesses and minority owned businesses are sub-contracted by large companies that are awarded City contracts.
